Good things happen to good girls, so...

I MADE THE CONCORDIA CONCERT CHOIR!!!!!!!!!!

A 2. alto dropped out, and Dr. Clausen had new auditions and I freaking made the choir!!!!!!!! *happy tears and BIG smile* What a FABULOUS Christmas present! This is gonne be a GREAT spring semester!! :D

Disgusting

I disgust myself these days.
I haven't been able to work out because I was afraid of getting a bad cold during the concert period. But, I have been eating just as much, if not more, so of course I have gained weight. I hate it, and I feel disgusted by myself. I am not even hungry, but still I keep stuffing my face with food.
Today has been better though, I haven't eaten too much, so hopefully it'll get better. I don't want to look fat on the Christmas pics. Well, I am still not FAT, but you know what I mean. The problem is that I think I am getting that cold, so the dilemma is - should I just work out and get that cold or should I take it easy and try to get over it?
BAH!!!!! To hell with it, I want to work out.
See you in a skinnier lifetime! :P

Morning workout

This morning I managed to get up and go 25min (2miles)at the elliptical, it certainly gives me energy the rest of the day when I get to do that.
Plus, the weather was SUPERB this morning, there was a little snowfall during the night, so I woke up to Winter Wonderland! That definitely cheered me up and made my day! I gotta post a pic of that:



This weekend has really been most about the Concert, but I did some basic abwork and stuff, and I think I went to lift a little this past Friday. But guess I wrote about that. So. Yeah. :)

Yoga with ball

As you know I have yoga classes every Tuesday and Thursday, and yesterday we had a fun twist to it: We used a ball, about the same size as a handball, but very squishy. Most of the time we just locked it between our knees, but we also held it in our hands.
And I don't know if it was the ball or the DANCING that we did that made my butt sore today!
YES, you read it right, we DANCED in World Musics class today! I posted a couple of videos on YouTube, so get an account and mail me your username or whatever, and I'll let you see them ;) WE danced a dance from Ghana, and MAN is that a great thigh workout. I've danced African dances before, and I like it a lot. We even performed for other people when done, hihi.

For those of you reading my "normal" blog at http://lykkepilla.blogspot.com, you know that I am having a Christmas Concert tonight, and some of those songs are good workouts too, haha. Psalm 150 makes me sweat and shake, kind of fun actually.
